Learning to “JUST BE” - Resting in God's Presence
It's something how God's uses the simple things in our lives to set off sparks of truth. When you think about a margin, yep the one that's in a document, it allows you room to stay in alignment and not run over the guidelines set. That is what God's rest is all about -- giving you space to enjoy Him, blessings around you, and to be renewed. Margin keeps YOU from not going in every which way in life but to stay in tune with God as He directs and leads.
Don't allow the hustle of life to pull you so far that you lose sight of what's important. Have you found yourself trying to figure it all out, praying and not seeing change? Desiring for things to shift or simply stagnated by the circumstances in your life? I’ve been there many times trying to work through my issues on my terms and on my timeline only left feeling tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed. Energy wasted trying to move when God was calling me to be still.
THERE COMES A TIME WHERE YOU TOO FRIEND HAVE TO JUST BE!
Choosing to "JUST BE" doesn't mean you're giving up or you're not equip to take action on life's endeavors, but what it does mean is that you're taking your position as a woman of faith acknowledging that you will submit to margin and to God's will for the Sabbath. You are denying the flesh and the worldly view to stay busy or what I like to describe as "empty hustle", to stand knowing that you can find sweet rest in the presence of God by creating margin in your life to experience Him in new ways. These encounters that we get to have with God allows us to continue to grow in our faith journeys being anchored in the ONE who is able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever imagine or do.
For just a second, imagine reading a document that was all jumble up and the margins not in place. Could you read it well? Would it frustrate you to do so? Probably so! Same goes with our lives, we need margin in place to calm the chaos and give God room to write our stories. Friend, learn to "JUST BE" so that you can establish margin - your time with God, your time of peace, your time with family/friends, and your time to embrace His grace. Let others experience a beautiful and unfolding story as you live to rest in the presence of God.
