Hello May + Flowers + Consistency
It's May....headed into summer already! I'm super excited because I love warmer weather, being outside, and soon....vacation! My family have welcomed May by sprucing up our yard with beautiful flowers. We had a great time picking out flowers (well...the boys ran around playing) and potting them! I say we did a great job this year and love the colors...what do you think? You can see that my boys enjoyed adding themselves to my pictures....I just love them!
In addition, May is my month to be more consistent and intentional with all areas of my life to include time with God, myself, family, home, business, and ministry! I have struggled so much with being consistent. I would start off great and then find myself spiraling downward....not so what I wanted! One of the key areas that I've always wanted to work on is my blogging! Blogging is so much fun but takes a lot of work. With my daily family schedule, running a handmade business, and everything else in between, I have failed at the task of being consistent with my blog. So instead of just settling or being fearful, I want to continue to grow in this area and share more about me, my passions, faith journey, and more! I figured I could use my blog to keep myself accountable and consistent! Please keep me in prayers because you know when you set your mind on something, the enemy tries to distract you. However, I claim the victory and know God is going to step me through each day.
I also challenge you to be more consistent in all you do. What area(s) in your life do you want to be more intentional about? Choose one area and go to God in prayer. Allow him to direct you and remember to "commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3 I love you all and Happy May!
